<p>Dr. Andrew Yousef is pleased and honored to join the great team at Canal Periodontics. Being very passionate about periodontics, his sole focus is to provide the best dental care for our patients. Dr. Yousef is dedicated to continually learning and using the most up-to-date surgical techniques and materials to ensure that patients receive incredible results.</p>
<p>Dr. Yousef was born in New York City but moved to the small town of East Brunswick, New Jersey at an early age. His parents were of Egyptian descent and migrated to the States to give their future children better lives. He was fortunate to be mentored by a family dentist in high school who encouraged him to pursue dentistry and this is where his passion began. With the ultimate intention of becoming a dentist, Dr. Yousef attended Rutgers University, and upon graduation, applied and was accepted to the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he received his doctorate degree. From there, Dr. Yousef pursued his passion for surgery by attending New York University to complete his certification in Periodontics and Implantology.</p>
<p>Beyond the dental chair, Dr. Yousef is an enthusiastic sports fan. Although he lives in Central New Jersey and still follows many New York teams, Dr. Yousef is extremely excited about the opportunity to connect with the great Philadelphia fan base and get to some games. Dr. Yousef is also an avid reader and loves to listen to fiction and non-fiction podcasts. Dr. Yousef shares these interests with his wife of two years. Together, they spend their free time volunteering and teaching at their local church.</p>
